2025's Top Scary Movie Makes a Comeback to IMAX Just in Time for Halloween

Perfectly timed October scares starts, one of the most celebrated thrilling features of the past few years is set for an exclusive reappearance to theaters, this time only in IMAX screens.

Premium Format Limited Screening Particulars

The film named Sinners, a project the work of the acclaimed director, is set to return in certain IMAX locations beginning Oct. 30, running for an exclusive week-long screening until November 5.

For those who caught Sinners in its first theatrical run, it's clear what a fantastic opportunity this is for another screening in a theater.

But, in case your first viewing wasn’t in IMAX, now you can make up for it, because the movie appears absolutely stunning on a massive IMAX screen.

Given the fact its original big-screen engagement was cut short in terms of IMAX presentations, because of a different release claiming those slots soon after launch, it's possible this will turn out to be your first option to experience the film in IMAX.

Skipped Sinners? It's the Opportunity!

Then again, it's possible you didn't watched this movie at all. In that case, it’s time to fix this oversight.

You won't find a better season for enjoying a scary film, most notably one that enhances scary movies.

Fortunately, Coogler has some expertise with that, previously achieving a similar feat with fighting movies and comic book movies.

The end result becomes a gripping but also profoundly chilling tale featuring gore, relational drama, romantic loss, vampires, plus Jordan taking on dual starring roles as sibling characters named the twins Smoke & Stack.

Coogler's Reflections on Casting

We asked Michael B. Jordan to do this complex task in terms of skill, acting as a pair of separate roles, and it required acting that was essential to include the backstory we developed previously to pull this off.
Observing him praised by his peers as well as others in filmmaking, I believe this represents so much for him.

Upcoming Work for Ryan Coogler

In the future, it's clear that this film certainly provided the director the motivation to continue exploring scary storytelling.

He’s already shared an X-Files in the works.

Discussing other reasons drives his selection to reimagine the beloved show, he explained:

Similar to my connection to Rocky films with my dad, the show holds a special place for my mother.
My mom means the world to me — she is in attendance today — so this is a big one for me.
I want to honor with her and the fans. My mother has seen some of the writing I wrote for it. She’s enthusiastic.

Last Opportunity to Experience Sinners

There’s no telling when this interpretation on The X-Files will see to the public.

However, viewers get a final opportunity to watch his absolutely amazing horror movie when it returns in IMAX theaters starting the 30th.
